Burst of Gratitude, send a gratitude Gram

During the month of November, we ask that you share your gratitude with our MMSD community with a video message. It can be directed at a person or at something that brings you joy. We in turn will share on our social media outlets and amplify the joy with "Gratitude Grams" to our MMSD Community.

Sending a HUGE shoutout to Crystal Cone in Material Handling. So grateful that she was able to safely package and send some really big but necessary mobility equipment to a student who had moved to another state. Thanks to her work the student will continue to make progress towards her goals!

Amber, thank you for the super-helpful email you sent families with resources for getting younger children vaccinated, as well as for your support for families all year. You answer questions and provide warmth and support during these crazy times, and we appreciate it so much.

Shout out to Ms. Sarah Urban, our school psychologist. Sarah goes above and beyond every day for students, families, staff and future school psychologists. She brings SEL and Mental Health to the forefront and educates our students and staff about the importance of self care and learning strategies to be successful. We are so lucky to have Ms. Urban at Elvehjem.
